If you want light and stiff the Stumpjumper Pro Carbon and Expert Carbon frames provide that combination like no other.  They are made of FACT IS 9m carbon.  FACT IS (Integrated Structure) is the most advanced carbon construction method devised by Specialized (and therefore probably by anybody), and delivers the ultimate weight to stiffness ratio.

The Stumpjumper Elite and Comp frames offer greater durability by using optimized M5 alloy tubing.  With this material you still minimize weight, but increase durability.  These two are the best performing trail bikes in their class.
